AS HERE, SO ELSEWHERE

From home, everything starts. religion, beliefs, practices, traditions, ways of life, etc. Every conviction starts with a question that is based on memories and ideas. Some people are taught to believe, while others gradually come to pass. Many different things might be meant by a journey of believing. While some do it for fun, others do it for a specific reason. People go through experiences throughout their existence in an effort to discover who they are and to find answers to their questions.

Who is Shiva? Is there a deeper meaning to Shiva, revealed only to those who seek? The idea that God works through our choices, our

perspective towards him and through the things that happen to us, forms the basis of our belief. Possessing a perspective is very important. Our decisions and how we live our lives are based on how we see things around us. In that sense, our point of view is often even more important than reality. Our truth is the truth we aspire to believe in.

Shiva can be the Destroyer, according to Hindu belief, yet he can also be the absolute basis and explanation of all consciousness. Some people describe Shiva as a non-being, while others describe him as space, omnipresent. There are people who think of him as the God of all Gods, the supreme power. Our minds are constantly trying to make sense of our world, forming judgments and opinions about every situation,

event, and interaction. Every person that we meet has his/her opinion, which has been influenced and modified, over a long span of time.

People give different meanings and definitions, according to their belief systems, and how they are affected by the different situations throughout their life.

This notion and the belief system did not come from a certain civilization or the thought process of a certain person’s mind. It came from their inner

realization. Every man or woman on this Earth has their own inner thought process, which makes them believe in something, which may or may not be true.

Shiva gave a possibility and a meaning to what we could do with every point in our human life.

We see things from our own perspective. It’s human nature. So it can

be hard to really think about what is motivating a person to act the

way he does. The journeys that I have undertaken in my lifetime have taken me to some astounding places  and unexplored inner spaces. The experiences have moulded my core in ways more than one. There are some  questions that still remain unanswered, but far many have got their due course.
